DJ Missfit is a lifer in Australia’s underground dance music scene, with two decades behind the decks and roots that run deep. Raised in Sydney warehouses in the late 90s, she cut her teeth on acid techno and electro before stepping on stage for the first time in 2006.
Over the years, Missfit has played extensively across Australia, from bush doofs to major festivals. She has been on line-ups with artists such as Ticon, Boris Brejcha, Shpongle and John 00 Fleming, and shared stages with a long list of Australian heavyweights, earning place and reputation with her clean mixing and intuitive track selection.
Beyond the decks, Missfit has been a consistent contributor to scene culture, with long-standing involvement in hosting and promoting events across QLD, VIC and the NT. In 2018 she co-founded Pink Noise Cairns, helping create space, visibility and opportunities for women in electronic music.
